গভীর রাতে রাজধানীর ফুটপাতে মশারি হাতে ভাইরাল পার্থ

নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় পার্টির (বিজেপি) চেয়ারম্যান আন্দালিব রহমান পার্থের একটি ভিডিও সামাজিক যোগাযোগের মাধ্যম ফেসবুকে ভাইরাল হয়েছে।

বুধবার (৭ আগস্ট) সকাল থেকেই ভাইরাল হওয়া ভিডিওটিতে দেখা গেছে, গভীর রাতে সড়কের ফুটপাতে ঘুমন্ত ছিন্নমূল মানুষদের জাগিয়ে তাদের মশারি বিতরণ করছেন পার্থ।

এ সময় মশারি দিয়ে তা তখনই টানিয়ে ঘুমাতে বলেছেন যাতে করে মশা না কামড়ায়। সেই সঙ্গে তাদেরকে সচেতন করে দিচ্ছেন যে, দেশে বর্তমানে ডেঙ্গু জ্বরের যে প্রকোপ চলছে তাতে খোলা আকাশের নিচে অন্তত মশারি টানিয়ে ঘুমাতে।

জানা গেছে, ঘটনাটি গত মঙ্গলবার রাতের। গভীর রাতে বের হয়ে গুলশান-১ ও ২, বনানী, কাকলী ও মহাখালী এলাকায় বিভিন্ন শ্রেণি পেশার মানুষের মাঝে মশারি বিতরণ করেন আন্দালিব রহমান পার্থ। ওইসব এলাকার ফুটপাত, ফুটওভার ব্রিজ ও মার্কেটে রাত কাটানো অসহায় ছিন্নমূল মানুষদের প্রত্যেককে একটি করে মশারি দেন তিনি।

দেশে ডেঙ্গুরোগ যখন দুর্যোগে রূপ নিচ্ছে তখন এডিস মশা থেকে এসব ছিন্নমূলদের রক্ষা করতে তিনি এ সামাজিক কর্ম করেছেন বলে জানিয়েছেন আন্দালিব রহমানের এপিএস জুয়েল আসিফ।

তিনি জানান, মঙ্গলবার দিবাগত রাত ১২টা থে‌কে ২টা পর্যন্ত একাই ঢাকা-১৭ আসনের বিভিন্ন এলাকায় মশারি বিতরণ করেন বিজেপি চেয়ারম্যান।

এসব এলাকা ছাড়া রাজধানীর বি‌ভিন্ন স্থা‌নে গ‌রিব মানু‌ষের মা‌ঝে মশারি বিতরণ অব্যাহত রাখা হ‌বে বলেও জানান জুয়েল আসিফ।

ব্যারিস্টার আন্দালিব রহমান পার্থের এই সময়োপযোগী কাজটি ইতোমধ্যে ভূয়সী প্রশংসা পেয়েছে। এমনভাবে অন্যান্য রাজনৈতিক নেতাকর্মী ও বিত্তবানদের এগিয়ে আসতে আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন নেটিজেনরা।
