জাবি প্রতিনিধি: কোনো ধরনের অপ্রীতিকর ঘটনা ছাড়াই জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে (জাবি) ২০১৯-২০ শিক্ষাবর্ষের প্রথম বর্ষ স্নাতক (সম্মান) শ্রেণির গাণিতিক ও পদার্থ বিষয়ক অনুষদের (‘এ’ ইউনিট) প্রথম দিনের ভর্তি পরীক্ষা সুষ্ঠুভাবে সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ভারপ্রাপ্ত প্রক্টর আ স ম ফিরোজ উল হাসান এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন।

রবিবার (২২ সেপ্টেম্বর) ‘এ’ ইউনিটের ছয়টি শিফটে পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

তিনি জানান, ‘আজকে ভর্তি পরীক্ষায় উপস্থিতির হার ছিল নব্বই ভাগের উপরে এবং কোনো ধরনের অপ্রীতিকর ঘটনা ঘটেনি। তবে ঢাকা-আরিচা মহাসড়কে অনেক জ্যাম হওয়ায় কিছুটা ভোগান্তিতে পড়তে হয়েছে শিক্ষার্থীদের।’

বিকেলে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. ফারজানা ইসলাম পরীক্ষা কেন্দ্র পরিদর্শনে বের হন।

এ সময় তিনি সাংবাদিকদের জানান, ‘ভর্তি পরীক্ষা সুষ্ঠুভাবে সম্পন্ন করার জন্য সকল ধরনের পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে। যেনো পরীক্ষার্থীরা কোনো ধরনের ভোগান্তির শিকার না হন সে জন্য সকলকে নির্দেশনা দেয়া হয়েছে।’

‘এ’ ইউনিটের আর তিনটি শিফটের পরীক্ষা আগামীকাল অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। এছাড়াও ৪র্থ শিফটে (বেলা ১টা ৫০মিনিট থেকে ২টা ৫০ মিনিট) ৮১০০০২ – ৮১৮৮৩৪, ৫ম শিফটে (বেলা ৩টা ১৫ মিনিট থেকে ৪টা ১৫ মিনিট) ৮১৮৮৩৫ – ৮২৭৭৪৬ এবং ষষ্ঠ শিফটে (বেলা ৪টা ৪০ মিনিট থেকে ৫ টা ৪০ মিনিট) ৮২৭৭৪৭ – ৮৯৬০৩৩ রোলধারীরা ‘এইচ’ ইউনিটের (ইনস্টিটিউট অব ইনফরমেশন টেকনোলজি, আইআইটি) ভর্তি পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণ করবে।
