নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : হলি আর্টিজান হামলা মামলার রায় ঘোষণা করা হবে আজ বুধবার (২৭ নভেম্বর)। এই রায়কে সামনে রেখে রাজধানীসহ সারা দেশে নিরাপত্তা জোরদার করা হয়েছে। আইন-শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনীর সদস্যদের পাশাপাশি গোয়েন্দারাও এ বিষয়ে কাজ করছে বলে জানান, কাউন্টার টেররিজম অ্যান্ড ট্রান্সন্যাশনাল ক্রাইম (সিটিটিসি) ইউনিটের প্রধান অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ কমিশনার মনিরুল ইসলাম।
এছাড়াও গুলশানের হলি আর্টিজান রেস্তোরাঁয় জঙ্গি হামলার এই মামলার রায়কে কেন্দ্র করে রাজধানীর পুরান ঢাকার মহানগর দায়রা জজ আদালত এলাকায় বাড়তি নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে।
বুধবার (২৭ নভেম্বর) সকালের দিকে সরেজমিনে দেখা যায়, এই রায়কে কেন্দ্র করে আদালত এলাকায় র্যাপিড অ্যাকশন ব্যাটালিয়ন (র্যাব) ও পুলিশের সমন্বয়ে কয়েক স্তরের নিশ্ছিদ্র নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে।
শুধুমাত্র আদালত পাড়া নয়, আশেপাশের এলাকাতেও বাড়তি সতর্ক অবস্থানে আইন-শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনীর সদস্যরা। রায় সাহেব বাজার মোড় থেকে শুরু করে জগন্নাথ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (জবি) পর্যন্ত পুরো রাস্তা একেবারে বাড়তি নিরাপত্তা বলয়ে ঘিরে রেখেছে পুলিশ সদস্যরা। সেই সঙ্গে গোয়েন্দা সংস্থার সদস্যরাও মাঠে রয়েছে।
এ দিন সকাল থেকেই গোটা আদালত পাড়া খালি করে রাখা হয়েছে। শুধু সাংবাদিকদের ছাড়া আদালতে প্রবেশে তল্লাশি চালাচ্ছেন পুলিশ ও র্যাব সদস্যরা।
সূত্রে জানা যায়, বুধবার সকাল ১০টার দিকে আসামিদের প্রিজনভ্যানযোগে কারাগার থেকে পুরান ঢাকার মহানগর দায়রা জজ আদালতে আনা হতে পারে।
ঢাকা মহানগর পুলিশের লালবাগ ডিভিশনের (ডিসি) মুনতাসিরুল ইসলাম বলেছেন, হলি আর্টিজান হামলার মামলার রায়কে কেন্দ্র করে আদালত ও পার্শ্ববর্তী এলাকায়ও অসংখ্যক পুলিশ মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে। সাদা পোশাকের গোয়েন্দা পুলিশও মোতায়েন রয়েছে। আদালত এলাকা জুড়ে বাড়তি নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে।
তিনি আরও বলেন, আদালত প্রাঙ্গণে সাধারণ মানুষের প্রবেশে কড়াকড়ি আরোপ করা হয়েছে। এ সময় যারা আদালতে প্রবেশ করবেন সবাইকে তল্লাশি করার মাধ্যমে ভেতরে যেতে দেওয়া হচ্ছে।
এর আগে ২০১৬ সালের ১ জুলাই রাতে হলি আর্টিজানে হামলা চালিয়ে নিষিদ্ধ ঘোষিত জঙ্গি সংগঠন জেএমবির সদস্যরা বিদেশি নাগরিকসহ ২০ জনকে হত্যা করে। এই হামলায় দুইজন পুলিশ কর্মকর্তা নিহত হন। পরে কমান্ডো অভিযানে পাঁচ জঙ্গি নিহত হয়।
