মসজিদে নামাজ পড়ায় চীনে বিদেশি পর্যটকদের আটক

আন্তর্জাতিক ডেস্ক : এশিয়ার পরাশক্তি চীনের জিনজিয়াং প্রদেশের একটি মসজিদে নামাজ আদায় করায় একদল মালয়েশিয়ান পর্যটককে আটক করেছে স্থানীয় কর্তৃপক্ষ। তাদের দাবি, অনুমতি ছাড়া উইঘুর মুসলিমদের সেই মসজিদে নামাজ পড়ায় পর্যটকদের আটক করা হয়েছিল। যদিও দূতাবাসের সহায়তায় পরবর্তীকালে তাদের ছেড়ে দেওয়া হয়।

চীনের বন্দিদশা থেকে ছাড়া পাওয়া মাত্রই মালয়েশিয়া ফিরে নিজেদের ভয়াবহ অভিজ্ঞতার কথা জানান সেই পর্যটকরা। তারা বলেছেন, মুক্তি পাওয়ার পরও আমরা ভীষণ হতাশ ছিলাম। কেননা মুসলিম হওয়া সত্ত্বেও আমাদের নামাজ আদায়ের অধিকার কেড়ে নেওয়া হয়।

রবিবার (২৯ ডিসেম্বর) ফেসবুক পোস্টে খির আরেফিন নামে এক পর্যটক বলেন, ‘প্রথমে আমরা অত্যন্ত খুশি ছিলাম, কারণ সবাই স্থানীয় একটি মসজিদে নামাজ আদায় করতে পেরেছে। যদিও এরপরই ঘটে বিপত্তি। নামাজ শেষ করেই আমরা দেখতে পাই মসজিদের বাইরে চীনের সশস্ত্রবাহিনী ও পুলিশ দাঁড়িয়ে আছে।’

তিনি আরও বলেন, এরপর আমাদের দলটিকে আটক করে একটি অজানা স্থানে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। চীনা পুলিশ আমাদের একটি অন্ধকার রুমের মধ্যে আটকে রাখে। পরে দূতাবাসের সহায়তায় আমাদের ট্যুর গাইড চীনা কর্তৃপক্ষের সঙ্গে কথা বলেন। যার প্রেক্ষিতে কয়েক ঘণ্টার মাথায় আমাদের মুক্তি দেওয়া হয়।

পর্যটকদের সেই দলে মালয়েশিয়ার রাষ্ট্রীয় বার্তা সংস্থা ‘বারনামার’ একজন সাংবাদিক ছিলেন। এ জন্যই তাদের সহজে ছেড়ে দেওয়া হয় বলে মনে করেন খির আরেফিন।
