অনুসন্ধান নিউজ ডেস্ক : বৈশ্বিক শক্তিশালী পাসপোর্ট সূচকে এক ধাপ পিছিয়েছে বাংলাদেশ। বর্তমান ৯৮তম অবস্থানে বাংলাদেশ। এই সূচকে শীর্ষে জাপান এবং সবচেয়ে পিছিয়ে আছে আফগানিস্তান।

ভিসা ছাড়া শুধু পাসপোর্ট দিয়ে বিদেশ ভ্রমণের সুবিধার ভিত্তিতে বিশ্বব্যাপী এই সূচক তৈরি করা হয়েছে। এ হিসেবে বিনা ভিসায় বিশ্বের ৪১টি দেশ ভ্রমণের সুবিধা নিয়ে কঙ্গো, ইরিত্রিয়া ও ইরানের সঙ্গে যৌথভাবে ৯৭তম অবস্থানে আছে বাংলাদেশ। অবশ্য গতবছরও ৪১ দেশ ভ্রমণের সুবিধায় ছিল বাংলাদেশ।

বাংলাদেশের প্রতিবেশী দেশগুলোর মধ্যে ভিসা ছাড়া শুধু পাসপোর্ট দিয়ে ৩২টি দেশ ভ্রমণের সুবিধা নিয়ে ১০৪তম অবস্থানে আছে পাকিস্তান। তবে ভারত বাংলাদেশের চেয়ে এগিয়ে। ৮৪টি দেশে ভ্রমণ সুবিধা নিয়ে বৈশ্বিক পাসপোর্ট সূচকে ৫৮তম অবস্থান নিয়েছে দেশটি। যার গতবছরের অবস্থান ছিল ৭৯তম।

আন্তর্জাতিক সংবাদমাধ্যম বলছে, বিনা ভিসায় বা অন-অ্যারাইভাল ভিসায় বিদেশ ভ্রমণ সুবিধার ভিত্তিতে বিভিন্ন দেশের পাসপোর্টের মূল্যায়ন করে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রভিত্তিক নাগরিকত্ব ও পরিকল্পনা বিষয়ক ফার্ম হেনলি অ্যান্ড পার্টনারস। আর ইন্টারন্যাশনাল এয়ার ট্রান্সপোর্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের (আইএটিএ) তথ্য ব্যবহার করে তৈরি একমাত্র সূচক এটি। আইএটিএ’র সহায়তায় ২০০৬ সাল থেকে এ জরিপ করছে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি। অপরদিকে, বিশ্বের পর্যটকদের তথ্যভিত্তিক সবচেয়ে বড় ডাটাবেজ এই আইএটিএ।

সূচক অনুযায়ী, বাংলাদেশের পাশাপাশি অবস্থানে আছে শ্রীলঙ্কা। ৪২ দেশে ভ্রমণ সুবিধা নিয়ে এশিয়ার এ দেশটি আছে ৯৭তম অবস্থানে। এছাড়া নেপাল রয়েছে ১০১তম স্থানে। তাদের ভিসা ছাড়া পাসপোর্ট দিয়ে ভ্রমণ সুবিধা আছে ৩৮টি দেশে। পাশাপাশি মিয়ানমার আছে ৯৪তম অবস্থানে। দেশটির ভ্রমণের অধিকার আছে ৪৭ রাষ্ট্রে।

সবচেয়ে শক্তিশালী পাসপোর্ট জাপানের। এ দেশের পাসপোর্ট দিয়ে ১৯১টি দেশে ভিসা ছাড়া ভ্রমণ করা যায়। এরপরেই আছে সিঙ্গাপুর ১৯০টি দেশভ্রমণ সুবিধা নিয়ে। এছাড়া তৃতীয় অবস্থানে আছে যৌথভাবে জার্মানি ও দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া। তাদের দেশভ্রমণ সুবিধা ১৮৯টি। এ হিসেবে শক্তিশালী পাসপোর্ট সূচকের শীর্ষ তিনে এশিয়ার তিন দেশ।

এছাড়া চার নম্বরে আছে ফিনল্যান্ড ও ইতালি (১৮৮)। পাঁচে আছে ডেনমার্ক, লুক্সেমবার্গ ও স্পেন (১৮৭)। ছয় অবস্থানে জায়গা পেয়েছে ফ্রান্স ও সুইডেন (১৮৬)। এছাড়া অস্ট্রিয়া, আয়ারল্যান্ড, নেদারল্যান্ডস, পর্তুগাল ও সুইজারল্যান্ড (১৮৫) সাতে, বেলজিয়াম, গ্রিস, নরওয়ে, যুক্তরাজ্য ও যুক্তরাষ্ট্র (১৮৪) আটে, অস্ট্রেলিয়া, কানাডা, চেক প্রজাতন্ত্র, মাল্টা ও নিউজিল্যান্ড (১৮৩) নয়ে অবস্থান করছে। এছাড়া ১০ নম্বরে যৌথভাবে আছে হাঙ্গেরি, লিথুয়ানিয়া ও স্লোভাকিয়া (১৮১)।

সবচেয়ে কম শক্তিশালী পাসপোর্ট হলো- আফগানিস্তান (১০৭তম), ইরাক (১০৬), সিরিয়া (১০৫), পাকিস্তান ও সোমালিয়া (১০৪), ইয়েমেন (১০৩) ও লিবিয়া (১০২)।

এ দিকে, সূচকে পিছিয়ে গেলেও বাংলাদেশকে ভিসা ফ্রি অর্থাৎ শুধু পাসপোর্টে ভ্রমণ সুবিধা দেওয়া দেশের সংখ্যা একই রয়েছে। বাংলাদেশকে এশিয়ায় এই সুবিধা দেয় ভূটান, ইন্দোনেশিয়া, মালদ্বীপ, নেপাল ও শ্রীলঙ্কা। এছাড়া আফ্রিকার ১৬টি, ওশেনিয়া অঞ্চলের সাতটি ও ক্যারিবীয় অঞ্চলের ১১টি দেশে বাংলাদেশের পাসপোর্টে ‘ভিসা ফ্রি’ সুবিধা মেলে।
