আন্তর্জাতিক ডেস্ক : রাশিয়ার সাইবেরিয়ায় টমস্ক গ্রামে ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনায় অন্তত ১১ শ্রমিকের প্রাণহানি ঘটেছে। এতে গুরুতর আহত হয়েছেন আরও কিছু লোক।

মঙ্গলবার (২১ জানুয়ারি) ভোররাতে ঘটা দুর্ঘটনায় নিহত শ্রমিকদের অধিকাংশই উজবেকিস্তানের নাগরিক বলে জানিয়েছে রুশ বার্তা সংস্থা তাস নিউজ এজেন্সি।

স্থানীয় কর্তৃপক্ষের বরাতে বার্তা সংস্থাটি জানায়, দুর্ঘটনায় নিহতদের মধ্যে দশজন উজবেকিস্তানের নাগরিক ও একজন রাশিয়ান নারী রয়েছেন। তারা বন থেকে কাঠ কাটার কাজে নিয়োজিত ছিলেন।

প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীদের মতে, একটি একতলা বিশিষ্ট ভবনে আগুন লেগে গেলে দুইজন সেখান থেকে পালাতে সক্ষম হন। প্রাথমিকভাবে ধারণা করা হচ্ছে, শর্ট সার্কিট থেকেই ভবনটিতে আগুনের সূত্রপাত ঘটেছিল।
