আসাদুলের লাশ উদ্ধার, খোঁজ মেলেনি তোহামনির

নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : রাজধানীর বাসাবোর মান্ডা খালে তলিয়ে যাওয়া চার বছরের শিশু আসাদুলের লাশ উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। তবে কদমতলীতে ডুবে যাওয়া শিশু তোহামনির সন্ধান তিন দিনেও পাওয়া যায়নি। তাকে উদ্ধারে চেষ্টা চালাচ্ছে ফায়ার সার্ভিস।

সোমবার (৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি) ফায়ার সার্ভিসের কন্ট্রোলরুমের ডিউটি অফিসার এরশাদ হোসেন এ তথ্য জানান।

রবিবার (২ ফেব্রুয়ারি) বিকাল সাড়ে ৩টার দিকে শিশু আসাদুল অন্য শিশুদের সঙ্গে খালপাড়ে খেলতে যায়। কিছুক্ষণ পরই খালের আবর্জনার ভেতরে হারিয়ে যায় সে। এ সময় স্থানীয়রা আসাদুলকে না পেয়ে ফায়ার সার্ভিসে যোগাযোগ করে। এর পর ফায়ার সার্ভিস কর্মীরা এসে উদ্ধার অভিযান শুরু করেন। শিশুটিকে উদ্ধারে অভিযান চালায় ফায়ার সার্ভিসের দুই ইউনিট। রাতে উদ্ধার অভিযান স্থগিত করার পর সকালে আবারও পানিতে নামেন ডুবুরিরা। পরে আসাদুলকে মৃত অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করা হয়।

এদিকে শনিবার (১ ফেব্রুয়ারি) বিকালে রাজধানীর কদমতলী এলাকার মিরাজনগরে পাঁচ বছরের শিশু তোহামনি খালে পড়ে যায়। ফায়ার সার্ভিসের তিন ডুবুরি গভীর রাত পর্যন্ত তল্লাশি করে ওই শিশুকে জীবিত বা মৃত উদ্ধার করতে পারেনি। সে এখনও নিখোঁজ রয়েছে।

স্বজনারা জানান, তোহামনি বল আনতে খালের কাছে গেলে পড়ে যায়। খালটি কাদা ও ময়লা-আবর্জনায় ভরা। এ কারণে শিশুটি তলিয়ে যাওয়ার পর সন্ধান পাওয়া যাচ্ছে না। তোহামনির বাবার নাম এরশাদ। বাসা মিরাজনগরের পাশের মোহাম্মদনগর কালভার্ট এলাকায়। ঘটনাস্থলের পাশেই শিশুটির বাবার একটি কনফেকশনারির দোকান রয়েছে।
