নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক: দেশে করোনায় আরও ৩ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এ নিয়ে মোট মারা গেছেন ১২ জন। গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় নতুন করে আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ৩৫ জন। এ নিয়ে মোট আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা ১২৩ জন।

সোমবার (৬ এপ্রিল) দুপুরে রাজধানীর মহাখালীতে স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের অনলাইন সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়।

স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের মহাপরিচালক অধ্যাপক ডা. আবুল কালাম আজাদ বলেন, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় সারাদেশ থেকে ৪৬৮টি নমুনা পরীক্ষা করা হয়। এর মধ্যে থেকে ৩৫ জনের দেহে করোনা শনাক্ত করা হয়েছে। এ পর্যন্ত ৪ হাজার ১১টি নমুনা পরীক্ষা করা হয়েছে।

এ দিকে এ দিন দুপুরে রাজধানীর মহাখালীতে বিসিপিএস অডিটোরিয়ামে এই কর্মপরিকল্পনা সভায় স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী জাহিদ মালেক জানিয়েছিলেন, দেশে করোনায় আরও ৪ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এ নিয়ে মোট মারা গেছেন ১৩ জন। গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় নতুন করে আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ২৯ জন। এ নিয়ে মোট আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা ১১৭ জন। এ বিষয়ে সাংবাদিকদের এক প্রশ্নের জবাবে স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের মহাপরিচালক বলেন, ওই সময় পর্যন্ত সেটাই সত্য ছিল। ওই তথ্য আমি ওনাকে (স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী) দিয়েছি।

ডা. আবুল কালাম আজাদ বলেন, মন্ত্রীমহোদয় তখন একটা মিটিংয়ে ছিলেন, আমার কাছে তথ্য চেয়েছিলেন। ওই সময় নামের বানানে একটা ঝামেলার কারণে মৃত্যুর সংখ্যা ভুল হয়েছিল। তবে এখন যেটা বলা হচ্ছে সেটা সর্বশেষ তথ্য।

এ সময় আইইডিসিআর পরিচালক অধ্যাপক ডা. মীরজাদী সেব্রিনা ফ্লোরা জানান, নতুন শনাক্তের মধ্যে ৩০ জন পুরুষ এবং ৫ জন নারী।

তিনি বলেন, নুতন শনাক্তের মধ্যে ৪১-৫০ বছরের কোঠায় ১১ জন এবং ২১-৩০ বছরের কোঠায় আছেন ৬ জন। সারাদেশে শনাক্ত ১২৩ জনের মধ্যে সর্বোচ্চ ঢাকা শহরে ৬৪ জন। এছাড়া নারায়ণগঞ্জে ২৩ জন এবং এরপরে মাদারীপুরে করোনায় শনাক্তের সংখ্যা বেশি। গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় নমুনা সংগ্রহের মধ্যে নারায়ণগঞ্জে ১২ জন শনাক্ত হয়েছে।

ডা. সেব্রিনা বলেন, এক সপ্তাহ আগেই দুদক পরিচালকের করোনা শনাক্ত করা হয়। এরপর তার সংস্পর্শে যারা এসেছিলেন তাদের কোয়ারেন্টিনে নেওয়া হয়। বাকি দু’জনকে হাসপাতালে আনার পর মারা যান।

এদিকে সারা বিশ্বে এখন পর্যন্ত ১২ লাখ ৭৪ হাজার ৯২৩ জন করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন। মারা গেছেন ৬৯ হাজার ৪৭৯ জন। বিপরীতে সেরে উঠেছেন ২ লাখ ৬৪ হাজার ৮৪৪ জন। বাংলাদেশে এখন পর্যন্ত করোনায় মৃত্যুর হয়েছে ১২ জনের। আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ১২৩ জন।
