একদিনেই রাজধানীতে আক্রান্ত ৬২ জন

নিজস্ব প্রতেবেদক: রাজধানী ঢাকায় করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা বেড়েই চলছে। এরপর রয়েছে পাশের জেলা নারায়ণগঞ্জ। গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় আরও ১১২ জন করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন। এর মধ্যে শুধু ঢাকায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ৬২ জন। এরপর নারায়ণগঞ্জে শনাক্তের সংখ্যা ১৩ জন বলে জানিয়েছেন জাতীয় রোগতত্ত্ব, রোগ নিয়ন্ত্রণ ও গবেষণা প্রতিষ্ঠানের পরিচালক অধ্যাপক ডা. মীরজাদী সেব্রিনা ফ্লোরা।

বৃহস্পতিবার (০৯ এপ্রিল) কোভিড-১৯ নিয়ে আয়োজিত নিয়মিত অনলাইন সংবাদ বুলেটিনে তিনি এ তথ্য জানান।

মীরজাদী সেব্রিনা ফ্লোরা জানান, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ঢাকা শহরে শনাক্ত হয়েছেন ৬২ জন। এরপর ১৩ জন রয়েছেন নারায়গঞ্জের। আমরা ইতোমধ্যেই নারায়ণগঞ্জকে হটস্পট হিসেবে চিহ্নিত করেছি। সেখানে বিশেষ পদক্ষেপ নিয়ে কাজ করা হচ্ছে।

তিনি বলেন, যদিও বিভিন্ন জায়গায় রোগী পাওয়া যাচ্ছে। বিভিন্ন জেলায় রোগী শনাক্ত হচ্ছে। কিন্তু অনেক ক্ষেত্রে দেখা যাচ্ছে, আগে যে ক্লাস্টারগুলো চিহ্নিত করা হয়েছিল যেমন— নারায়ণগঞ্জ, অনেক জেলাতেই যখন রোগী চিহ্নিত করেছি, তখন জানা গেছে যে, তারা নারায়ণগঞ্জ থেকে গেছেন।

ডা. ফ্লোরা বলেন, তাই আমাদের ঘরে থাকাটা যে কতটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, সেটা এখান থেকে বোঝা যায়।

তিনি বলেন, গত ২৬ মার্চ থেকে সাধারণ ছুটি ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। কিন্তু তাকে ছুটি হিসেবে নিলে হবে না। এটা সরকার থেকে দেওয়া হয়েছে কেবলমাত্র ঘরে থাকার জন্য। ঘরে থাকাটাই সবচেয়ে বড়, ঘরে থাকতেই হবে।

আইইডিসিআরের পরিচালক আরও বলেন, এ পর্যন্ত যত রোগী আমরা পেয়েছি, তাদের বিশ্লেষণ করে দেখা গেছে— তাদের সংক্রমণ হওয়ার প্রথম জায়গাটা জনসমাগম। তাই যে কোনো ধরনের জনসমাগম এড়িয়ে চলতে হবে।

বুলেটিনে স্বাস্থ্য অধিদফতরের অতিরিক্ত মহাপরিচালক অধ্যাপক ডা. সানিয়া তহমিনা বলেন, ঘরে থাকতে হবে। আর এজন্য এখন সংক্রমণ ব্যাধি আইন প্রয়োগ করতেও আমরা দ্বিধা বোধ করছি না।

তিনি জানান, নতুন শনাক্ত হওয়া ১১২ জনের মধ্যে পুরুষ ৭০ জন, আর ৪২ জন নারী। তিনি বলেন, ‘নিয়মিতভাবেই দেখা যাচ্ছিল কোভিড-১৯ এ আক্রান্ত হওয়াদের মধ্যে পুরুষ দুই তৃতীয়াংশের মতো। গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় শনাক্ত হওয়া রোগীর মধ্যেও তাই দেখতে পাচ্ছি। বয়সের হিসেবে ১০ বছরের নিচে রয়েছে তিন জন, ১১ থেকে ২০ বছরের মধ্যে নয় জন, ২১ থেকে ৩০ বছরের মধ্যে ২৫ জন, ৩১ থেকে ৪০ বছরের মধ্যে ২৪ জন, ৪১ থেকে ৫০ বছরের মধ্যে ১৭ জন, ৫১ থেকে ৬০ বছরের মধ্যে ২৩ জন এবং ৬০ বছরের ঊর্ধ্বে রয়েছেন ১১ জন।
