খোকসায় মা হারা মেয়েকে হত্যা করল মামা!

জেলা প্রতিনিধি, কুষ্টিয়া : কুষ্টিয়ার খোকসায় সৎ মামার হাতুড়ির আঘাতে এক স্কুলছাত্রী খুন হয়েছে। মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে এ হত্যাকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটে। এ ঘটনায় ঘাতক মামা প্রদীপকে কুমারখালী থানা পুলিশ আটক করেছে। তবে ওই সৎ মাকে গ্রেফতারের দাবিতে বিক্ষোভ মিছিল করেছেন গ্রামবাসী।

নিহত পূজা উপজেলার কাদিরপুর গ্রামের মুদি দোকানী গৌতম কুমার দেব ওরফে হারুনের একমাত্র মেয়ে। সে শোমসপুর মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের দশম শ্রেণির ছাত্রী ছিল।

মঙ্গলবার (১৪ এপ্রিল) দুপুরে পূজার মৃত্যুর বিষয়টি সাংবাদিকেদর নিশ্চিত করেন খোকসা থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) মজিবুর মুজিব।

জানা গেছে, শোমসপুর মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের দশম শ্রেণির ছাত্রী পূজা রানী মঙ্গলবার (১৪ এপ্রিল) দুপুরে নিজের ঘরের মেঝেতে বসে দুপুরের খাওয়া খাচ্ছিল। এ সময় সৎ মায়ের ভাই প্রদীপ পেছন থেকে স্কুল ছাত্রীর মাথায় হাতুর দিয়ে হামলা করে। স্কুল ছাত্রীর মৃত্যু নিশ্চিত বুঝে ঘাতক মামা পালিয়ে যায়। এ সময় স্কুল ছাত্রীর বাড়িতে অন্যকেউ উপস্থিত ছিল না। পরে থানা পুলিশ স্কুল ছাত্রীর মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করে। এ ব্যাপারে মামলার প্রস্তুতি চলছে।

স্কুলছাত্রী পূজা হত্যার সাথে জড়িত সৎ মা সূচিত্রা ও মামা প্রদীপের গ্রেফতার এবং বিচারের দাবিতে ঘটনার দিন বিকালে গ্রামবাসী বিক্ষোভ মিছিল করে। মিছিলকারীরা স্কুল ছাত্রীর সৎ মা সুচিত্রাকে গ্রেফতারের দাবি করেন।


সৎ মা সূচিত্রা ও মামা প্রদীপের গ্রেফতারের দাবিতে গ্রামবাসীর বিক্ষোভ

স্কুল ছাত্রীর সৎ মা সূচিত্রার দাবি, সে প্রতিদিনের মত মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে স্বামীর খাবার নিয়ে শোমসপুর বাজারে যায়। এ সময় পূজা এক বান্ধবীর সাথে বাড়িতে গোসল করছিল। সে বাড়ি ফিরে মেয়েকে আর দেখেনি। শুনেছে মেয়েকে (পূজা) কে হত্যা করে ঘরে ফেলে গেছে।

নিহত ছাত্রীর বাবা গৌতম কুমার দেব ওরফে হারু দাবি করেন, পরিকল্পিত ভাবে সৎ মা তার ভাইকে দিয়ে এই হত্যা কান্ড ঘটিয়েছে। তিনি এ ঘটনায় মামলা করবেন।

খোকসা থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ মজিবুর রহমান সাংবাদিকেদর বলেন, স্থানীয় সূত্রে সংবাদ পেয়ে পুলিশ ওই স্কুলছাত্রীর রক্তাত্ব লাশ উদ্ধার করে। প্রাথমিক ভাবে ধারণা করা হচ্ছে, মেয়েটিকে পেছন থেকে ধাতব কোনো কিছু দিয়ে আঘাত করা হয়েছে। রক্তক্ষরণে মেয়েটি মারা যেতে পারে বলে মনে হচ্ছে।

ওসি সাংবাদিকেদর আরও বলেন, লাশ উদ্ধার করে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য মর্গে পাঠানো হয়েছে। ময়নাতদন্তের রিপোর্ট পাওয়ার পর বিস্তারিত জানা যাবে। আর ধর্ষণের শিকার হয়েছে কী না তা জানা যাবে মেডিকেল রিপোর্টের পর।


স্কুলছাত্রী পূজার লাশ উদ্ধার করে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে পুলিশ

এদিকে স্থানীয়দের দাবি, পূজার মা মারা যাওয়ার পর তার বাবা গৌতম কুমার দেব বিয়ে করেন সুচিত্রা রাণীকে। সুচিত্রাকে বিয়ে করার পরপরই পূজাকে নানাভাবে নির্যাতন করত তার সৎ মা ও সৎ মায়ের ভাই প্রদীপ কুমার।

তারা আরও জানায়, এই নির্মম হত্যাকাণ্ডের সাথে সৎ মা ও সৎ মামা জড়িত। তারা ঘটনার সুষ্টু বিচার দাবি করেন।

খোকসা থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (তদন্ত) ইদ্রিস আলী সাংবাদিকদের বলেন, হত্যায় জড়িতদের আটক করতে পুলিশের অভিযান অব্যাহত আছে।

আর এ ব্যাপারে হত্যা মামলার প্রস্তুতি চলছে বলেও সাংবাদিকদের জানান তিনি।

উল্লেখ্য, স্কুল ছাত্রী পূজার জন্মের কয়েক বছর পর তার মা মারা গেলে বাবা দ্বিতীয় বিয়ে করেন। শুরু থেকে মায়ের বিষ নজরে পরে এই ছাত্রী। এ নিয়ে মা বেটির মধ্যে বিরোধ ছিল। এসবের সূত্র ধরে হত্যাকাণ্ড হতে পারে।
