নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : বরগুনায় শিশু কন্যাকে গাছের সঙ্গে বেঁধে মাকে গণধর্ষণ ঘটনার মূলহোতা মো. জহুরুল আকনকে (২৮) গ্রেপ্তার করেছে র্যাব।
র্যাবের একটি বিশেষ আভিযানিক দল কোম্পানি অধিনায়ক অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার মো. রইছ উদ্দিনের নেতৃত্বে শনিবার সন্ধ্যা ৬টার দিকে বরগুনা জেলার সদর থানাধীন দক্ষিণ বালিয়াতলি এলাকা থেকে তাকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়। সে তালতলী উপজেলার তেতুলবাড়িয়া এলাকার আলমগীর আকনের ছেলে।
প্রসঙ্গত, শিশু কন্যাকে গাছে বেঁধে মাকে গণধর্ষণ, ওসি নিলেন ধর্ষণ চেষ্টার মামলা শিরোনামে সংবাদপত্রে সংবাদ প্রকাশিত হলে, র্যাব ছায়া তদন্ত শুরু করে এবং অভিযুক্তদের গ্রেপ্তারে গোয়েন্দা তৎপরতা বৃদ্ধি করে।
ঘটনার সংক্ষিপ্ত বিবরণে জানা যায় যে, গত ২৩ এপ্রিল জনৈক গৃহবধূ তার কন্যা সন্তানকে নিয়ে শ্বশুরবাড়ি পিরোজপুর জেলাধীন মঠবাড়িয়া উপজেলার শাপলেজা গ্রাম থেকে পটুয়াখালী কলাপাড়া উপজেলার মহিপুর গ্রামে খালাবাড়ি রওনা দেয়। শ্বশুর বাড়ি থেকে পাথরঘাটা খেয়া পাড় হয়ে তালতলী শুভসন্ধ্যা ঘাটে পৌঁছায়।
সেখান থেকে ভাড়ায় চলিত মোটরসাইকেলে নিশানবাড়িয়া খেয়াঘাটের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা করে। মোটরসাইকেল ড্রাইভার অভিযুক্ত জহুরুল আকন তাদেরকে নিয়ে নির্জন জঙ্গলে দিকে যায়। সেখানে নিয়ে এলাকার ৪/৫ জন বখাটে মিলে সন্তানকে গাছের সাথে বেঁধে রেখে মাকে গণধর্ষণ করে।
এ সংক্রান্তে ভিকটিম গৃহবধূ নিজেই বাদী হয়ে গত ১ লা মে তালতলী থানায় একটি মামলা দায়ের করেন। ঘটনাটি অত্যন্ত চাঞ্চল্যকর হওয়ায় র্যাব অভিযুক্ত আসামিদের গ্রেপ্তারে বিশেষ অভিযান পরিচালনা করে। গোপন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে উক্ত মামলার অন্যতম আসামি ও মোটরসাইকেল চালক জহুরুল আকন কে গ্রেপ্তার করতে সক্ষম হয়।
আটককৃত আসামিকে তালতলী থানায় হস্তান্তর করা হয়েছে। অভিযুক্ত অপর আসামিদের গ্রেপ্তারের প্রচেষ্টা অব্যাহত রয়েছে।
