গুলি করে ২৬ বাংলাদেশি হত্যায় কিশোরগঞ্জে মামলা, গ্রেপ্তার ১

জেলা প্রতিনিধি, কিশোরগঞ্জ : গুলি করে লিবিয়ায় ২৬ বাংলাদেশিকে হত্যার ঘটনায় কিশোরগঞ্জের ভৈরব থানায় একটি মামলা করা হয়েছে।

নিহত সাদ্দাম হোসেন আকাশের বড় ভাই মোবারক হোসেন বাদী হয়ে রবিবার (৩১ মে) দুপুরে সাতজনকে আসামি করে মামলাটি দায়ের করেন।

ওই মামলায় ভৈরবের মানব পাচারকারী তানজিরুলকে প্রধান আসামি করা হয়েছে। এছাড়াও মামলাটিতে অজ্ঞাত পরিচয় আরও ৭ থেকে ৮ জনকে আসামি করা হয়েছে।

মামলাটি তদন্ত করবে সিআইডি। এরই মধ্যে ঢাকার সিআইডির অর্গানাইজ ক্রাইম টিম ভৈরবে এসে তদন্ত শুরু করেছে। সিআইডির পুলিশ পরিদর্শক মো. মিজানুর রহমানকে তদন্তের দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে।

মামলার পর ভৈরবের শ্রীনগর গ্রামের মানব পাচারকারী তানজিরুলের বড় ভাই মো. বাহারুল আলম ওরফে বাচ্চু মিলিটারিকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে।

নিহতের স্বজনরা জানান, স্থানীয় দালাল তানজিরুল, জাফরসহ অন্যান্য দালালের মাধ্যমে নিহতরা লিবিয়া হয়ে ইতালি যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করছিল। সংসারের সচ্ছলতা আনতে জমি-জমা বিক্রিসহ ধারদেনা করে ৪ থেকে ৫ লাখ টাকা দালালদের হাতে তুলে দিয়েছিলেন তারা।

মামলার বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে ভৈরব থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) মো. শাহিন মিয়া জানান, লিবিয়ার ঘটনায় থানায় মানবপাচার প্রতিরোধ ও দমন আইনে একটি মামলা হয়েছে। পুলিশ হেড কোয়ার্টারের সরাসরি তত্ত্বাবধানে সিআইডি, ডিবিসহ বিভিন্ন গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা মামলাটি তদন্ত করছে।

উল্লেখ্য, গত ২৮ মে লিবিয়ায় অপহরণকারীদের গুলিতে ২৬ বাংলাদেশি নিহত ও বেশ কয়েকজন আহত হন। এদের মধ্যে ভৈরবের সাতজন নিহত ও তিনজন আহত হন।

নিহতরা হচ্ছেন- রাজন, সাকিল, সাকিব মিয়া, আকাশ, মো. আলী, মাহবুব ও মামুন। আহত অবস্থায় লিবিয়ায় চিকিৎসাধীন আছেন সোহাগ আহমেদ, মো. সুজন মিয়া ও মো. জানু মিয়া।
