যশোরে অপহৃত এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার্থীর লাশ উদ্ধার

জেলা প্রতিনিধি, কুষ্টিয়া : বৃহস্পতিবার (৪ জুন) সকালে অভয়নগর উপজেলার পুড়াখালী বাঁওড়ের আগাছার ধাপের নিচ থেকে পুলিশ তার লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে। নিহত কলেজ ছাত্র নুরুজ্জামান বাবু (২০) উপজেলার পুড়াখালী গ্রামের ইমরান গাজীর ছেলে। সে উপজেলার ধোপাদী এস এস কলেজ থেকে এবারের উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষায় পরীক্ষার্থী ছিলেন। এই ঘটনায় পুলিশ রিফাত হোসেন আউস (১৮) ও আবদুর রাজ্জাক (৫০) নামে দুজনক গ্রেপ্তার করেছে।

আটক রিফাত হোসেন আউস অভয়নগর উপজেলার পুড়াখালী গ্রামের সরোয়ার খন্দকারের ছেলে। সে মথুরাপুর দাখিল মাদ্রাসা থেকে এবারের দাখিল পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছে। আবদুর রাজ্জাক ঝিনাইদহের কোর্টচাঁদপুর উপজেলার সাবদালপুর গ্রামের আবদুল লতিফ পাটোয়ারির ছেলে। সে পুড়াখালী গ্রামে বিয়ে করে সেখানে ঘরজামাই হিসাবে বসবাস করেন।

মো. নুরুজ্জামান গাজীর চাচা ইয়াসিন আলী গাজী জানান, গত সোমবার রাতে নুরুজ্জামান বাড়িতে ছিলেন। রাত নয়টার দিকে গ্রামের রিফাত হোসেন আউস তাকে ফোন করে বাড়ি থেকে ডেকে নিয়ে যায়। রাতে সে বাড়ি ফেরেনি। তার ব্যবহৃত মোবাইল ফোনটিও বন্ধ পাওয়া যায়। অনেক খোঁজাখুঁজি করেও তার কোনো সন্ধান পাওয়া যায়নি। মঙ্গলবার তার বাবা ইমরান গাজী অভয়নগর থানায় একটি সাধারণ ডায়েরি (জিডি) করেন। রাতে নুরুজ্জামানের মোবাইল নম্বর থেকে বাবা ইমরান গাজীকে ফোন করে ৫০ লাখ টাকা মুক্তিপণ দাবি করা হয়। বিষয়টি পুলিশকে জানানো হয়। বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে পুড়াখালী বাঁওড়ের আগাছার ধাপের নিচ থেকে পুলিশ তার লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে।

পুলিশ জানায়, তথ্য প্রযুক্তির সহায়তায় অপহরণকারীদের শনাক্ত করা হয়। এরপর বুধবার অভয়নগর ও ঝিনাইদহের কোর্টচাঁদপুরে পৃথক অভিযান চালিয়ে দুই অপহরণকারীকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়। এ সময় তাদের কাছ থেকে নুরুজ্জামানের ব্যবহৃত মোবাইল ফোনটিও উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। বুধবার গভীর রাতে পুলিশ অপহরণকারীদের নিয়ে পুড়াখালী বাঁওড়ে যায়। এ সময় দুই অপহরণকারী বাঁওড়ের আগাছার ধাপের নিচে তার লাশের অবস্থান চিহ্নিত করেন। বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল ১০টার দিকে পুলিশ সেখান থেকে মরদেহটি উদ্ধার করে। পুলিশ জানায়, অপহরণের দিন রাতেই অপহরণকারীরা নুরুজ্জামানকেকে হত্যা করে।

উপজেলার পাথালিয়া পুলিশ ক্যাম্পের উপপরিদর্শক (এসআই) আবদুল হালিম বলেন, লাশ উদ্ধার করে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য যশোর ২৫০ শয্যাবিশিষ্ট জেনারেল হাসপাতালের মর্গে পাঠানোর প্রস্তুতি চলছে।

যশোরে অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার তৌহিদুল ইসলাম কলেজ ছাত্র হত্যাকাণ্ডের কথা স্বীকার করেছেন।
