নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসন বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করেছেন দলের মহাসচিব মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর।

শনিবার (১৩ জুন) রাতে রাজধানীর গুলশানে খালেদা জিয়ার বাসভবন ‌ফিরোজায় দেখা করতে যান তিনি। এক ঘণ্টার এই সাক্ষাতে খালেদা জিয়ার শারীরিক খোঁজ-খবর নেন মির্জা ফখরুল। একই সঙ্গে দলের কার্যক্রম ও মহামারি করোনার সময়ে দলীয় নেতাকর্মীদের কর্মকাণ্ড সম্পর্কে তাকে অবহিত করেন। বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসনের প্রেস উইং সূত্র এই তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছে।

দলীয়প্রধানে সঙ্গে আলোচনার বিষয়ে জানতে চাইলে মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর বলেন, জাস্ট ফরমাল। আমি আমার পার্টির লিডারের সাথে মাঝে মাঝে দেখা করবই। এখানে বলার মতো কিছু নেই।

বিএনপি মহাসচিব বলেন, ম্যাডামের শরীর ভালো না, অসুস্থ। পায়ের ব্যথা আরও বেড়েছে। যে চিকিৎসা নিচ্ছেন, সেভাবেই উনি আছেন। বর্তমান যে পরিবেশ, তাতে বেটার ট্রিটমেন্টের সুযোগ নেই। এখন তো হাসপাতালে নেয়া সম্ভব নয়। বিদেশে যাওয়ার নিষেধাজ্ঞা আছে।

সূত্র জানায়, মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীরকে ডেকেছিলেন খালেদা জিয়া। খালেদা জিয়ার কারামুক্তির পর দলের মহাসচিবের এটা তৃতীয় সাক্ষাৎ। এর মধ্যে দুই দফায় দলের সর্বোচ্চ নীতিনির্ধারণী ফোরাম জাতীয় স্থায়ী কমিটির সঙ্গে দেখা করেছিলেন খালেদা জিয়া।

প্রসঙ্গত, জিয়া অরফানেজ ট্রাস্ট ও জিয়া চ্যারিটেবল ট্রাস্ট দুর্নীতির মামলায় সাজা হওয়ার পর গত ২৫ মার্চ নির্বাহী আদেশে ৬ মাস সাজা স্থগিত রেখে খালেদা জিয়াকে মুক্তি দেয় সরকার। দেশের বাইরে যেতে পারবেন না এবং দেশেই চিকিৎসা নেবেন-এই দুই শর্তে মুক্তির পর বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (বিএসএমএমইউ) থেকে গুলশানের ভাড়া বাসায় ওঠেন সাবেক এই প্রধানমন্ত্রী। এরপর থেকে তিনি চিকিৎসকদের পরামর্শে বাসায়ই আছেন।

এদিকে একটি সূত্র জানিয়েছে, খালেদা জিয়াকে চিকিৎসার জন্য বিদেশে নেয়ার চেষ্টা চলছে। তার ভাই শামীম ইস্কান্দার এসব বিষয় নিয়ে সরকারের বিভিন্ন মহলে দেন-দরকার করছেন। তবে তার বিদেশে যাওয়ার বিষয়ে সরকারের অনুমতি পাওয়া যাবে কি না, সে বিষয়ে কিছু জানা যায়নি।
