সচিবালয়ে মন্ত্রিসভার বৈঠকের পর সোমবার (২২ ফেব্রুয়ারি) দুপুরে ব্রিফিংকালে সাংবাদিকদের প্রশ্নের জবাবে এই তথ্য জানান তিনি।

তিনি বলেন, এ বিষয়ে বেশ ভালো আলোচনা হয়েছে। শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়কে সংশ্লিষ্ট সবাইকে ডেকে নিয়ে বসে আলোচনা করে একটা সিদ্ধান্তে আসতে বলা হয়েছে।

মন্ত্রিপরিষদ সচিব বলেন, তারা একটি বিষয় পর্যালোচনা করবে শিক্ষা-প্রতিষ্ঠান খুলবে কিনা, কখন খুলবে, দ্রুত খোলা যায় কিনা, কি পদ্ধতিতে খোলা হবে। অনেক দিন হয়ে গেছে লেখাপড়া বন্ধ আছে। অন্যান্য দেশে স্কুল-কলেজ খোলা আছে ভার্চুয়ালি। সেই দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, আপনারা বসে চিন্তা-ভাবনা করেন কীভাবে স্কুল-কলেজ খুলে দিতে পারি কিনা।
