চট্টগ্রামের পাহাড়তলী থানা এলাকায় মো. নাহিদ (২২) নামে এক যুবককে ছুরিকাঘাত করেছে আরেক যুবক।
রোববার (১১ এপ্রিল) সকাল ৯টার দিকে পাহাড়তলীর সিডিএ মার্কেট হাজী ভবনের চতুর্থ তলার একটি ভাড়া বাসায় এ ঘটনা ঘটে।
নাহিদের বাড়ি নোয়াখালী জেলায়, তার বাবার নাম আবুল বাশার। নাহিদ ইস্পাহানি মির্জাপুর কোম্পানিতে চাকরি করে বলে জানা গেছে।
নাহিদের প্রতিবেশী ছোট ভাই মো. শামীম বলেন, ‘ভাড়া বাসায় নাহিদের কক্ষে থাকা আরেক যুবকের ছুরিকাঘাতে তিনি মারাত্মক আহত হন। খবর পেয়ে আমরা তাকে উদ্ধার করে চট্টগ্রাম মেডিকেল কলেজ (চমেক) হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাই।’
বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে চমেক হাসপাতাল পুলিশ ফাঁড়ির সহকারী উপপরিদর্শক (এএসআই) শীলব্রত বড়ুয়া বলেন, ‘বেলা ১১টা ১৫ মিনিটের দিকে পাহাড়তলী এলাকা থেকে ছুরিকাঘাতে আহত এক যুবককে চমেক হাসপাতালে আনা হয়। পরে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাকে হাসপাতালের একটি ওয়ার্ডে ভর্তি করেন।’
