‘হামার (আমার) নাড়িছেঁড়া ধনকে ফিরাই দাও। এক ছাওল (ছেলে) থাকে বিদ্যাশে (বিদেশ)। নাড়িছেঁড়া বুকের ধন রনিই হামার (আমাকে) দেখাশুনা করত। এহন হামাক কে দেখবে?’

মো. রনি হাসানের (২২) মায়ের এমন আহাজারিতে গ্রামের আকাশ-বাতাস ভারী হয়ে উঠেছে। ছেলের কথা বলতে বলতে বারবার মূর্ছা যাচ্ছেন মা গোলনাহার বেগম।

তিনি চিৎকার করে কাঁদছেন আর বলছেন, ‘ফিরে আই বাজান, আমার নাড়িছেঁড়া ধনরে।’

রনির মা জানান, এক সপ্তাহ আগে রনি মোবাইল ফোনে কথা বলে। সে বলে, মা আমি ভালো আছি। আমার জন্য দোয়া করো। ঈদের ছুটিতে বাড়ি আসব।

চট্টগ্রামের বাঁশখালী উপজেলার গুণ্ডামারা এলাকায় এস আলম গ্রুপের মালিকানাধীন কয়লা বিদ্যুৎকেন্দ্রে শনিবার (১৭ এপ্রিল) দুপুর সাড়ে ১২টার দিকে বিভিন্ন দাবিতে শ্রমিকদের বিক্ষোভ সংঘর্ষে গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে পাঁচজন নিহত হন। এদের মধ্যে একজন মো. রনি হাসান।

রনি চুয়াডাঙ্গা জেলার জীবননগর উপজেলার কেডিকে ইউনিয়নের কাশীপুর গ্রামের মাঠ পাড়ার ওলিউল্লার ছেলে। মাথায় গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে মৃত্যু হয় রনি হাসানের।

ওই গ্রামের অনেকেই ভাগ্য বদলের জন্য কয়লা বিদ্যুৎকেন্দ্রে চাকরি করেন। তাদের দেখাদেখি রনিও চাকরি নেন। সেখানে ভালোই ছিলেন। কাজ করছিলেন, বাড়িতে টাকা পাঠাচ্ছিলেন। পরিবারে আসতে শুরু করেছিল আর্থিক স্বচ্ছলতা। এর মাঝেই গত শনিবার ঘটে যায় দুর্ঘটনা।

নিহতের লাশ রোববার রাতে কাশিপুর গ্রামে নিজ বাড়িতে পৌঁছালে এক হৃদয় বিদারক পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি হয়। আকস্মিক এ মৃত্যুর খবরে সকাল থেকেই বাড়িতে ভিড় জমিয়েছেন স্বজন ও প্রতিবেশীরা। মরদেহ একনজর দেখতে ছুটে আসেন এলাকার শত শত মানুষ।

সোমবার (১৯ এপ্রিল) সকালে নিহত রনির বাড়িতে গিয়ে দেখা যায়, তাদের পরিবারে চলছে শোকের মাতম। ছেলের মৃত্যুতে আহাজারি করছেন মা-বাবা। ভাইয়ের মৃত্যুতে একমাত্র বোন লাইলিও কান্নায় ভেঙে পড়েছেন। সান্ত্বনা জানাতে এগিয়ে এসেছেন আত্মীয় স্বজনসহ এলাকাবাসী।

পরিবারের বরাত দিয়ে নিহতের মামা সেলিম হোসেন জানান, সংসারে স্বচ্ছলতা আনতে এক বছর আগে আমার ভাগিনা রনি চাকরি করতে চট্টগ্রামে যায়। আজ লাশ হয়ে বাড়ি ফিরল। আমি আমার ভাগনের হত্যাকারীদের শাস্তি চাই এবং ন্যায্য ক্ষতিপূরণ চাই।

নিহতের সহকর্মী একই গ্রামের রুবেল হোসেন এবং সোহাগ জানান, আমরা ১০টি দাবি নিয়ে শান্তিুপূর্ণভাবে অবস্থান ধর্মঘট করছিলাম। এর এক পর্যায়ে কিছু বহিরাগত এবং পুলিশ এসে আমাদের ওপর লাঠিচার্জ করে এবং গুলি ছোড়ে। এ সময় একটি গুলি রনির মাথায় লাগলে ঘটনাস্থলেই তার মৃত্যু হয়।

নিহত রনির বাবা ওলিউল্লা জানান, আমার মোট তিন সন্তান। মেয়ে লাইলি সবার বড় এবং বিবাহিত। আর বড় ছেলে ইসমাইল হোসেন বাবু দু’ বছর আগে সৌদি আরব গেছে। ছোট ছেলে রনি এক বছর আগে চট্টগ্রামে চাকরি করতে যায়। ঈদের ছুটিতে বাড়ি আসার কথা ছিল। কিন্তু ঈদের আগেই লাশ হয়ে বাড়ি ফিরল। আমি আমার ছেলের হত্যাকারীর বিচার চাই এবং ক্ষতিপূরণ চাই।

জীবননগর থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) মো. সাইফুল ইসলাম জানান, পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে অভিযোগ করলে আইনগত ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হবে।
