ভোলায় নিষেধাজ্ঞা অমান্য করে বঙ্গোপসাগরে মাছ শিকার করে ফেরার সময় সামুদ্রিক মাছসহ একটি ফিশিং বোট জব্দ করা হয়েছে। এসময় ওই ফিশিং বোট থেকে ইলিশসহ বিভিন্ন ধরনের ১০ মণ সামুদ্রিক মাছ জব্দ করা হয়। পরে মেরিং ফিশারিজ আইনে জব্দকৃত মাছ নিলামে তোলা হয় এবং বোট মালিককে জরিমানা করে ছেড়ে দেয়া হয়।

মঙ্গলবার (২৫ মে) ভোরে দৌলতখান উপজেলার চৌকিঘাটা এলাকার মেঘনা নদী থেকে ওই ফিশিং বোট জব্দ করে উপজেলা মৎস্য বিভাগ।
