অদ্য ০৮ জুন ২০২১ খ্রিঃ তারিখ সকাল ১০.০০ ঘটিকায় পুলিশ অফিস সম্মেলন কক্ষে জেলা পুলিশ কুষ্টিয়ার আয়োজনে অপমৃত্যু মামলা তদন্ত সংক্রান্ত জরুরী সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
উক্ত সভায় প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন জনাব মোঃ খাইরুল আলম, সুযোগ্য পুলিশ সুপার, কুষ্টিয়া। সভায় উপস্থিত সকল থানার মামলা তদন্তকারী কর্মকর্তাগণ অপমৃত্যু মামলা তদন্তের ক্ষেত্রে যে সকল সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হন সেই সকল বিষয় উপস্থাপন করলে প্রধান অতিথি মহোদয় উপস্থিত সকলের কথা মনোযোগ দিয়ে শ্রবণ করে বিভিন্ন দিক নির্দেশনামূলক বক্তব্য প্রদান করেণ। সেই সাথে মামলা তদন্ত আরো গতিশীল করতে প্রতি মাসে অপমৃত্যু মামলার তদন্তকারী কর্মকর্তাদের নিয়ে দুইটি সভা অনুষ্ঠানের ঘোষণা দেন।
কোন হত্যার ঘটনাকে কেউ যাতে অপমৃত্যু মামলা হিসেবে চালিয়ে দিতে না পারে সে জন্য সবাইকে সর্তকতার সাথে তদন্ত কার্যক্রম পরিচালনার নির্দেশ দেন। পাশাপাশি অপমৃত্যু মামলা তদন্তের ক্ষেত্রে দ্রুত ঘটনাস্থলে উপস্থিত হয়ে যথাযথভাবে সুরতহাল প্রতিবেদন প্রস্তুত করা, যথাসময়ে লাশের ময়না তদন্তের ব্যবস্থা করা, অসনাক্তকৃত লাশের ছবি সংগ্রহ, বিধি মোতাবেক আলামত জব্দ করা এবং যথা সময়ে ময়না তদন্ত/ভিসেরা রিপোর্ট সংগ্রহের মাধ্যমে মামলার যাবতীয় কার্যক্রম সমাপ্ত করার নিদের্শনা প্রদান করেন।
এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন জনাব মোঃ রাজিবুল ইসলাম, অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার(সদর),জনাব মোঃ ইয়াছির আরাফাত, অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার, ভেড়ামারা সার্কেল, কুষ্টিয়া।
