রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রশাসন ভবন ও উপাচার্যের বাসভবনে তালা ঝুলিয়ে দিয়েছেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বিতর্কিত নিয়োগপ্রাপ্তরা।
বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ফাইন্যান্স কমিটির সভা ও সিন্ডিকেট সভা পণ্ড করতে আজ শনিবার সকাল ৯টার দিকে তারা এই ভবনগুলোতে তালা লাগিয়ে দেন।
জানা গেছে, শনিবার সকাল সাড়ে ১০টায় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য বাসভবনে ফাইন্যান্স কমিটির একটি সভা হওয়ার কথা ছিল। এ ছাড়া আগামী ২২ তারিখ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সিন্ডিকেট সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হওয়ার কথা রয়েছে। এই সভা দুটি যাতে অনুষ্ঠিত হতে না পারে, সে কারণে ভবনগুলোতে তালা লাগিয়েছেন সাবেক উপাচার্যের শেষ কর্মদিবসে অবৈধভাবে নিয়োগপ্রাপ্তরা।
রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় সাবেক উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক আবদুস সোবাহান তাঁর মেয়াদের শেষ দিন শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের নিষেধাজ্ঞা উপেক্ষা করে ১৩৭ জনের একটি বিতর্কিত নিয়োগ দিয়ে যান। শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয় সে নিয়োগকে অবৈধ আখ্যা দিয়ে প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি করে। মন্ত্রণালয়ের নির্দেশে ১৩৭ জনের যোগদান স্থগিত রেখেছেন
এ বিষয়ে বর্তমানে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক আনন্দ কুমার সাহা জানান, তালা লাগানোর ঘটনাটি তিনি শুনেছেন। তিনি প্রশাসনের সবার সঙ্গে আবার কথা বলবেন, এরপর প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে।
