কুষ্টিয়ায় করোনা সংক্রামণ ও মৃত্যুর ঊর্ধ্বগতির রেকর্ড ভেঙ্গে নতুন রেকর্ড করেছে। গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ৫৪৫ নমুনা পরীক্ষা করে ১৮০ জনের করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে। এ সময় ৯ জন মারা গেছেন। পরীক্ষা বিবেচনায় শনাক্তের হার ৩৩.৮৯ শতাংশ। এনিয়ে গত ১২ দিনে ১ হাজার ৬শ’ ৩০ জন করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন। একই সঙ্গে গত ১০ দিনে ৫৮ জন মারা গেছেন।
সোমবার (২৮ জুন) রাতে জেলা প্রশাসকের অফিস এসব তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছে।
জেলা প্রশাসকের অফিস জানায়, নমুনা পরীক্ষা বিবেচনায় শনাক্তের হার ৩৩ দশমিক ৮৯ শতাংশ। নতুন করে শনাক্ত হওয়া ১৮০ জনের মধ্যে কুষ্টিয়া সদরে ৬৬ জন, দৌলতপুরে ৩৮ জন, কুমারখালীতে ২৭ জন, ভেড়ামারায় ১৭ জন, মিরপুরে ২০ জন এবং খোকসার ১২ জন রয়েছেন।
মারা যাওয়া ৯ জনের মধ্যে ৪ জন কুমারখালীর, ৩ জন মিরপুরের, ১ জন করে সদর ও দৌলতপুর উপজেলার বাসিন্দা। এ পর্যন্ত জেলায় ৬১ হাজার ২৮৬ জনের নমুনা পরীক্ষার জন্য নেয়া হয়েছে। নমুনা পরীক্ষার প্রতিবেদন পাওয়া গেছে ৫৯ হাজার ৩০৩ জনের।
উল্লেখ্য, দ্বিতীয় মেয়াদে ৩দিনের চলমান লকডাউনের আজ মঙ্গলবার (২৯ জুন) দ্বিতীয় দিনও ঢিলেঢালাভাবে পালিত হচ্ছে। গত ১২ জুন থেকে কুষ্টিয়া পৌরসভায় কঠোর বিধিনিষেধ জারি করা হয়। দুই দফায় ৯ দিন চলার পর ২১ জুন থেকে জেলা জুড়ে ৭ দিনের সর্বাত্মক লকডাউন দেয় জেলা প্রশাসন। সেটি শেষ হলে দ্বিতীয় মেয়াদে আরও ৩ দিন লকডাউন বাড়ানো হয়। এটি চলবে ১ জুলাই সকাল ৬টা পর্যন্ত।
