কুষ্টিয়ায় স্কুল শিক্ষিকা ও তার স্বামীর বিরুদ্ধে অবৈধ অর্থ উপার্জন তথ্য পেয়ে দুর্নীতি দমন কমিশন ২টি মামলা দায়ের করেন। মামলায় আসামী করা হয় স্কুল শিক্ষিকা আয়শা খাতুন ও তার স্বামী সাবেক কুষ্টিয়া জেলা হিসাব রক্ষণ কর্মকর্তা আশারাফুল আলমকে।
রোববার তারিখ-২৭ দুপুরে কুষ্টিয়া দুদকের জেলা কার্যালয়ে মামলা দুটি করা হয়। বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন কুষ্টিয়া দুদকের জেলা কার্যালয়ের উপপরিচালক মোঃ জাকারিয়া। এর মধ্যে এক মামলার আসামি হলেন, রংপুরের তারাগঞ্জ উপজেলার ইকরচালী গ্রামের বাসিন্দা আব্দুস সাত্তার মিয়ার ছেলে সাবেক কুষ্টিয়া জেলা হিসাব রক্ষণ কর্মকর্তা বর্তমানে রংপুরে কর্মরত আশারাফুল আলম। আরেক মামলার আসামি করা হয়েছে, তার স্ত্রী রংপুর সদর উপজেলার রাধাকৃষ্ণপুর সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের সহকারী শিক্ষিকা আয়শা খাতুন।
প্রথম মামলায় আনিত সাবেক জেলা হিসাব রক্ষণ কর্মকর্তা আশরাফুল আলম তার কর্মজীবনের ১৯৮৯ সাল হতে ২০১৯ সাল সময়কালের মধ্যে জ্ঞাত আয় বহির্ভূত প্রায় ৩৬ লাখ টাকার সম্পদ অর্জনের অভিযোগ রয়েছে। দ্বিতীয় মামলায় আশরাফুল আলম ও তার স্ত্রী আয়শা খাতুন যৌথভাবে কর্মজীবনের ১৯৯৫ সাল হতে ২০১৯ সাল সময়কালের মধ্যে প্রায় ২১ লাখ টাকার জ্ঞাত আয় বহির্ভূত সম্পদ আহরণ করেছেন বলে দুদকের প্রাথমিক অনুসন্ধান ও তদন্তে সত্যতা পাওয়া যায়।
মামলার এজাহারে উল্লেখ করা হয়, আসামিদের দখলে থাকা প্রায় দুই কোটি টাকার সম্পত্তির মধ্যে প্রায় অর্ধকোটি টাকার সম্পত্তি জ্ঞাত আয় বহির্ভূত। অপরাধ সংগঠিত হয়েছে বলে প্রতীয়মান হওয়ায় তাদের বিরুদ্ধে পৃথক দুটি মামলা দায়ের করেছে দুর্নীতি দমন কমিশন দুদক জেলা কার্যালয়।
