ফরিদপুর বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে গেল ২৪ ঘণ্টায় করোনা ও উপসর্গে ৭ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এদের মধ্যে করোনা শনাক্ত হয়ে ৪ জন এবং উপসর্গ নিয়ে ৩ জন মারা গেছেন। এছাড়া গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ফরিদপুর পিসিআর ল্যাবে ১৪১ নমুনা পরীক্ষার মধ্যে শনাক্ত হয়েছে ৫৫ জন।
ফরিদপুর জেলা সিভিল সার্জন অফিস সূত্রে জানা যায়, ফরিদপুর পিসিআর ল্যাবে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ফরিদপুর জেলায় মোট নমুনা পরীক্ষা হয়েছে ১৪১টি এর মধ্যে শনাক্ত হয়েছে ৫৫ জন। সনাক্তের হার ৩৫.৪৬ শতাংশ।
এদিকে ফরিদপুর বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালের পরিচালক ডা. সাইফুল ইসলাম জানান, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় ৭ ব্যক্তির মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এদের মধ্যে করোনা শনাক্ত হয়ে ৪ জন এবং উপসর্গ নিয়ে আরও ৩ জন মারা গেছেন।
