নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : আপন খালুই ধর্ষণের পর গলাটিপে হত্যা করেছিল আঁখি আক্তারকে (১২)। এরপর প্রমাণ নষ্টের জন্য মরদেহ পেট্রল দিয়ে পুড়িয়ে দেয়া হয়।

পুলিশের হাতে গ্রেফতারের পর বুধবার এই খুনের রোমহর্ষক বর্ণনা দেন আঁখির খালু শাহাদত হোসেন (৩৩)। আদালতেও তিনি স্বীকারোক্তিমূলক জবানবন্দি দিয়েছেন।শাহাদাত হোসেন দৌলতপুর উপজেলার বড় শ্যামপুর গ্রামের মৃত আব্দুল লতিফের ছেলে।

এর আগে গত শনিবার মানিকগঞ্জের দৌলতপুর উপজেলার চকমিরপুর এলাকার একটি পরিত্যক্ত ডিপ টিউবওয়েলের ঘর থেকে অঙ্গার মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে পুলিশ। পরনের সালোয়ারের কিছু অংশ দেখে পরবর্তীতে তার পরিচয় শনাক্ত করেন স্বজনরা। পরদিন গত ২১ অক্টোবর এই ঘটনায় দৌলতপুর থানায় একটি হত্যা মামলা রুজু হয়।

মানিকগঞ্জ জেলা পুলিশের ডিআইও মুহম্মদ আশরাফুল আলম জানান, দৌলতপুর থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) সুনীল কুমার কর্মকারের নেতৃত্বে এসআই মো. আব্দুল হাই আসামি শাহাদাত হোসেনকে ঢাকার ধামরাই থানার বারবাড়িয়া এলাকা থেকে মঙ্গলবার রাতে গ্রেফতার করেন। এরপর তাকে ব্যাপক জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করা হয়। এক পর্যায়ে তিনি আঁখিকে হত্যার কথা স্বীকার করেন।

আশরাফুল আলম জানান, ‘গত ১৮ অক্টোবর আঁখিকে তার নানার বাড়ি সাটুরিয়া উপজেলার দিঘলিয়ায় পৌঁছে দেয়ার কথা বলে নিয়ে আসেন শাহাদাত। তবে সেখানে না নিয়ে আঁখিকে কৌশলে দৌলতপুরের চকমিরপুর এলাকায় নিয়ে যান শাহাদাত। দুই দিন ওই এলাকায় আঁখিকে রাখার পর ২০ অক্টোবর গভীর রাতে তাকে ধর্ষণ করেন। পরে প্রমাণ নষ্ট করতে আঁখিকে গলাটিপে শ্বাসরোধে হত্যা করা হয়। এরপর পেট্রল ঢেলে তার শরীর পুড়িয়ে দেয়া হয়।’

জানা গেছে, আঁখির জন্মের আগেই তার বাবা আবুল হোসেন মারা যান। এরপর মা সেলিনা বেগমের সঙ্গে নানাবাড়ি সাটুরিয়া উপজেলার দিঘুলিয়া গ্রামে থাকত আঁখি। সে মাদরাসায় লেখাপড়া করত। মা সেলিনা বেগম তার দুই বোনের সঙ্গে সাভারের হেমায়েতপুরে একটি পোশাক কারখানায় শ্রমিক হিসেবে কাজ করেন। সেখানেই ভাড়া বাসায় থাকেন।

কয়েক দিন আগে আঁখিকে নিজের কাছে এনে রেখেছিলেন সেলিনা। গত বৃহস্পতিবার বিকেল ৩টার দিকে দিঘুলিয়ার উদ্দেশে আঁখিকে হেমায়েতপুর বাসস্ট্যান্ড থেকে বাসে তুলে দেয়া হয়। সেলিনার বোনজামাই শাহাদৎ আঁখিকে বাসে তুলে দেন। কিন্তু এরপর থেকে সে নিখোঁজ ছিল।
