সিপিবির সভাপতি মুজাহিদুল ইসলাম সেলিম ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক মো. শাহ আলম বুধবার এক বিবৃতিতে এ নিন্দা জানান।
বিবৃতিতে তারা বলেন, সিপিবির সাবেক সাধারণ সম্পাদক কমরেড মোহাম্মদ ফরহাদের মতো একজন জাতীয় নেতা ও সাবেক সংসদ সদস্যের বাড়ি যদি এভাবে দখল হয়ে যায়, সেখানে সাধারণ মানুষের সম্পত্তি কীভাবে রক্ষা পাবে?
তারা বলেন, স্মৃতিবিজড়িত বাড়িটি উদ্ধার করতে হবে। সরকারের দায়িত্ব হচ্ছে দখলদারদের কাছ থেকে কমরেড ফরহাদের বাড়িটি দ্রুতই উদ্ধার করা।
বিবৃতিতে তারা আরও বলেন, সিপিবির সাবেক সাধারণ সম্পাদক গণমানুষের প্রিয় নেতা কমরেড মোহাম্মদ ফরহাদের দিনাজপুরের ক্ষেত্রিপাড়া পৈত্রিক বাড়ি দখলের তীব্র নিন্দা জানিয়েছেন। একইসঙ্গে বিবৃতিতে নেতৃবৃন্দ অবিলম্বে বাড়িটি উদ্ধার করার জন্য সরকারের প্রতি জোর দাবি জানিয়েছেন।
বিবৃতিতে নেতৃবৃন্দ বলেন, দিনাজপুরের এই বাড়িটি কমরেড মোহাম্মদ ফরহাদের স্মৃতিবিজড়িত। এই বাড়িতেই তিনি জন্মগ্রহণ করেন এবং বেড়ে উঠেছেন। বাড়িটি তার মা তৈয়বুন্নেছার নামে। তিনি যতদিন বেঁচে ছিলেন, ততদিন এই বাড়িতেই থাকতেন। কমরেড ফরহাদও দিনাজপুরে গেলে ওই বাড়িতে থাকতেন।
শুধু ব্যক্তিগত স্মৃতিই নয়, এই বাড়ির সঙ্গে অনেক রাজনৈতিক ঘটনাও যুক্ত হয়ে আছে। কিন্তু স্বাক্ষর জালিয়াতি করে বাড়িটি রেজিস্ট্রি করা হয় এবং বাড়ির ৬ শতক জমি বিক্রি করে দেয়া হয়। বাড়িতে অবৈধভাবে নতুন স্থাপনা নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। এই ঘটনায় জনমনে ব্যাপক ক্ষোভ সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
