আন্তর্জাতিক ডেস্ক : মিয়ানমারে অবাধ ও সুষ্ঠু নির্বাচনের পর ফের ক্ষমতা হস্তান্তর করা হবে বলে ঘোষণা দিয়েছে দেশটির সেনাবাহিনী। নতুন সামরিক জান্তার বৈঠক শেষে তথ্যটি জানিয়েছেন মিয়ানমারের সেনাপ্রধান মিন অং হ্লেইং।
মিয়ানমার সেনাবাহিনীর একটি অফিসিয়াল ওয়েবসাইটে বৈঠকের সারাংশ তুলে ধরে জানানো হয়, দেশটিতে সুষ্ঠু ও সত্যিকারের শৃঙ্খলাপূর্ণ বহুদলীয় গণতান্ত্রিক ব্যবস্থা অনুশীলনের প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন কমান্ডার-ইন-চিফ সিনিয়র জেনারেল মিন অং হ্লেইং।
অবশ্য কবে নাগাদ নির্বাচন দেওয়া হতে পারে সে বিষয়ে এখন পর্যন্ত কোনো সময়সীমা জানায়নি মিয়ানমার সেনাবাহিনী। যদিও সোমবার (১ ফেব্রুয়ারি) সকালে অভ্যুত্থানের পরপরই এক বছরের জন্য জরুরি অবস্থা জারি করেছে তারা।
গত ৮ নভেম্বরের নির্বাচনে অং সান সু চির দল ন্যাশনাল লীগ ফর ডেমোক্রেসি (এনএলডি) ৮৩ শতাংশ আসন পায়। ২০১১ সালে সামরিক শাসন শেষ হওয়ার পর দেশটিতে এটি দ্বিতীয় নির্বাচন ছিল। এতে এনএলডি ৪৭৬টির মধ্যে ৩৯৬টি আসনে জয় পায়।
অন্য দিকে সেনা সমর্থিত ইউনিয়ন সলিডারিটি অ্যান্ড ডেভেলপমেন্ট পার্টি পায় মাত্র ৩৩টি আসন। এই জয়ের মধ্য দিয়ে সু চির দল আরেক দফায় পাঁচ বছরের জন্য দেশ শাসনের সুযোগ পায়।
যদিও ভোটের ফলাফল মেনে নেয়নি সামরিক বাহিনী। তারা সুপ্রিম কোর্টে দেশটির প্রেসিডেন্ট এবং নির্বাচন কমিশনের প্রধানের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ দায়ের করে। এরপর সোমবার সকালে সু চি, দেশটির প্রেসিডেন্ট উইন মিন্টসহ বেশ কয়েকজন শীর্ষ নেতাকে আটক করে অভ্যুত্থান ঘোষণা করে মিয়ানমার সেনাবাহিনী।
সকাল থেকে জরুরি অবস্থা জারির পর রাজধানী নেপিদোতে মোবাইল ফোন ও রাষ্ট্রীয় টেলিভিশন এবং রেডিওর প্রচার বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয়েছে। তবে সামরিক বাহিনী নিয়ন্ত্রিত টেলিভিশন মায়াবতির সম্প্রচার চালু রয়েছে।
টেলিভিশনটির এক বিবৃতিতে জানানো হয়, গত ৮ নভেম্বরের বহুদলীয় সাধারণ নির্বাচনে যে ভোটার তালিকা ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে তাতে গড়মিল পাওয়া গেছে। এ বিষয়টির সমাধান করতে ব্যর্থ হয়েছে ইউনিয়ন নির্বাচন কমিশন।
সেখানে আরও বলা ছিল, ভোটার তালিকা নিয়ে জালিয়াতি করা হয়েছে, যার ফলে গণতন্ত্র নিশ্চিত সম্ভব হচ্ছে না। বিষয়টি নিষ্পত্তি করতে অস্বীকৃতি জানানো এবং উচ্চ ও নিম্নকক্ষে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণে ব্যর্থ হয়েছে পার্লামেন্ট।
মিয়ানমার সেনাবাহিনী বলছে, এই সমস্যার সমাধান না হলে এটি গণতন্ত্রের ক্ষেত্রে বাধা সৃষ্টি করবে। আইন অনুযায়ী, এই সমস্যার অবশ্যই সমাধান করতে হবে। এ কারণে ২০০৮ সালের সংবিধানের ৪১৭ অনুচ্ছেদ অনুযায়ী দেশজুড়ে জরুরি অবস্থা জারি করা হয়েছে। আগামী এক বছর এই জরুরি অবস্থা বহাল থাকবে।
