চারিদিকে করোনাভাইরাসের সংক্রমণ বেড়েই চলেছে। তবুও মানুষের মধ্যে নেই সচেতনতা। তাইতো এবার সংক্রমণ রোধে ও মানুষকে সচেতন করার লক্ষ্যে হ্যান্ডমাইক হাতে রাস্তায় নেমেছেন বাবা-ছেলে।
রোববার (১১ এপ্রিল) বেলা ১১টার দিকে ঝিনাইদহ শহরের পোস্ট অফিস মোড়, চুয়াডাঙ্গা বাস স্ট্যান্ড, ওয়াবদা কাঁচাবাজার ও কচাতলা এলাকায় ঘুরে ঘুরে সচেতনতামূলক প্রচার প্রচারণা চালাতে দেখা যায় তাদের।
এ সময় বাবা শাহীনূর আলম লিটন হাতে হ্যান্ডমাইক নিয়ে করোনা ভাইরাসের সংক্রমণ রোধে বলেন, প্রয়োজন ছাড়া কেউ বাইরে আসবেন না। সবসময় মাস্ক ব্যবহার করুন। হাতের মাধ্যমেই করোনা ভাইরাসের জীবাণু শরীরে প্রবেশ করে। এজন্য সাবান দিয়ে বার বার হাত ধুতে হবে। এছাড়া স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে চলতে সকলের প্রতি আহ্বান জানান তিনি।
আর ছেলে ইবতিতা আলম নেহাল চৈত্রের এই প্রখর রোদের মধ্যে বাবার সাথে শহরে ঘুরে ঘুরে যাদের মুখে মাস্ক নেই তাদের হাতে মাস্ক তুলে দেয়। এ সময় সে মাস্ক ছাড়া ঘরের বাইরে বের না হওয়ার অনুরোধ জানায় সকলকে।
ইবতিতা আলম নেহাল জানায়, করোনার জন্য অনেক দিন হলো স্কুল বন্ধ। সব সময় বাড়িতে বসে থাকতে হয়। তেমন কোনো কাজ নেই। প্রতিদিন টিভিতে দেখি করোনায় অনেক মানুষ মারা যাচ্ছে। কিন্তু মানুষ এখনও সচেতন না হয়ে হাটবাজেরে ঘুরছে। এজন্য বাবার সাথে বের হয়েছি মানুষকে সচেতন করতে।
সে আরও জানায়, বাবা মাইকে করোনা নিয়ে সচেতনতামূলক কথা বলছেন, আর সে মুখে মাস্ক ছাড়া শহরে যে সকল মানুষ চলাফেরা করছে তাদেরকে একটি করে মাস্ক দিচ্ছে। মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়াতে পেরে সে অনেক আনন্দিত বলে জানায়।
শাহীনূর আলম লিটন জানান, করোনার প্রভাব ঠেকাতে স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে চলার পরামর্শ দিচ্ছেন চিকিৎসকরা। কিন্তু কেউ সচেতন হচ্ছে না। এজন্য ভাবলাম বাড়িতে বসে না থেকে আমরা বাব-ছেলে জনগণকে সচেতন করি।
