বিশ্বের মুসলমান সম্প্রদায়ের সবচেয়ে বড় ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান পবিত্র হজ। প্রতি বছরের মতো এবারও হজের খুতবা বাংলায় অনুবাদ করা হবে।
বাংলার পাশাপাশি এই খুতবা ইংরেজি, তুর্কি, চায়নিজ, উর্দু, ফার্সিসহ আরও নয়টি ভাষায় অনুদিত হবে।
মহামারি করোনাভাইরাসের কারণে এবারও ‘সীমিত আকারে’ হজ পালনের পরিকল্পনা করেছে সৌদি আরব।
এ বছর হজের খুতবার বাংলা অনুবাদক হিসেবে মনোনীত হয়েছেন বাংলাদেশের কক্সবাজার জেলার মাওলানা আ.ফ.ম ওয়াহীদুর রহমান। তিনি বর্তমানে মক্কা ইসলামী সেন্টারে দাঈ হিসেবে কাজ করছেন।
মসজিদে হারাম ও মসজিদে নববী পরিচালনা পরিষদ এ তথ্য জানিয়েছে।
হিজরি ক্যালেন্ডার অনুযায়ী, প্রতি বছর আরবি জিলহজ মাসের ৯ তারিখ আরাফাত ময়দানে হজের খুতবা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এই আরাফাতের ময়দানেই মহানবী হযরত মুহাম্মদ (স.) বিদায় হজ ভাষণ দিয়েছিলেন।
এবছর ১৯ জুলাই সোমবার আরাফার দিন পালিত হবে পবিত্র হজ। মঙ্গলবার পশু কোরবানির মধ্য দিয়ে সম্পন্ন হবে মূল কার্যক্রম।
