শুক্রবার (৩০ জুলাই) শুক্রবার সকাল ৮টা থেকে আজ শনিবার (৩১ জুলাই) সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্ত কুষ্টিয়া জেনারেল হাসপাতালের করোনা ওয়ার্ডে এদের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এছাড়াও ২৪ ঘণ্টায় আরও ৩৭ জনের করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে। নমুনা পরীক্ষা বিবেচনায় শনাক্তের হার গত দিনের চেয়ে কমে ২৮ শতাংশ হয়েছে। এই সময়ে সুস্থ হয়েছেন ২৪৩ জন করোনা রোগী।
হাসপাতালটির তত্ত্বাবধায়ক ডা. আব্দুল মোমেন জানান, কুষ্টিয়া করোনা ডেডিকেডেট জেনারেল হাসপাতালের ২শ’ বেডে করোনা ও এর উপসর্গ নিয়ে এখন ভর্তি আছে ২২৪ জন। এর মধ্যে করোনা শনাক্ত রোগী ১৭৭ জন। বাকীরা করোনার উপসর্গ নিয়ে ভর্তি আছেন। ৭০ শতাংশ রোগীর অক্সিজেন প্রয়োজন হচ্ছে।
গত ৭ দিনেই কুষ্টিয়ায় করোনা আক্রান্ত ৭২ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে এবং ১ হাজার ২৯৬ জন করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন। এ পর্যন্ত শুধু করোনা আক্রান্ত ৫৫২ জনের মৃত্যু হলো।
