উপজেলা সিনিয়র মৎস্য কর্মকর্তা শাম্মী শিরীন জানান, জাতীয় মৎস্য সপ্তাহ উপলক্ষে (২৮ আগষ্ট০৩ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২১) বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রম গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে। কর্মসূচির মধ্যে রয়েছে, প্রচারণা, উপজেলা পরিষদের পুকুরে পোনামাছ অবমুক্তকরণ, বিকল্প কর্মসংস্থানের উপকরণ বিতরণ, প্রান্তিক পর্যায়ে মৎস্যচাষি ও মৎস্যজীবিদের সাথে মতবিনিময়, চাষিদের পরামর্শ, সেবা, পুকুরের মাটি ও পানি পরীক্ষা।
