পাঠ্যবইয়ে এবার মহামারি করোনাভাইরাস। ভারতের পশ্চিমবঙ্গের স্কুল সিলেবাসে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করোনা সংক্রান্ত পাঠক্রম। চলতি শিক্ষাবর্ষের একাদশ শ্রেণির পাঠক্রমে এই করোনা বিষয়ক নানা তথ্য উঠে এসেছে।
ভারতীয় সংবাদ মাধ্যম হিন্দুস্তান টাইমের খবরে বলা হয়, শুধু একাদশ শ্রেণির পাঠক্রমে নয় ষষ্ঠ শ্রেণির সিলেবাসেও করোনাভাইরাস সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত আকারে যুক্ত হচ্ছে। পাঠ্যপুস্তকে এর আগেও সংক্রমিত রোগ সম্পর্কে আলোচনা করা হয়। তবে কোনও রোগ সম্পর্কে এর আগে এত বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হয়নি।
ভারতের এ রাজ্যে ২০২১ সালে মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষা হয়নি। বিদ্যালয়গুলোর আগের পরীক্ষার নম্বর সমন্বয় করে পরীক্ষার্থীদের পাস করিয়ে দিয়েছে কর্তৃপক্ষ। এর পর মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা বোর্ড সিলেবাস কমিয়ে দেওয়ার ঘোষণা দেয়।
ওয়ার্ল্ডোমিটারের সর্বশেষ তথ্য অনুযায়ী, সংক্রমণের তালিকায় দ্বিতীয় অবস্থানে রয়েছে ভারত। দেশটিতে এখন পর্যন্ত শনাক্তের সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে তিন কোটি ৩২ লাখ ৩২ হাজার ১৬৮ জন। এর মধ্যে মারা গেছেন চার লাখ ৪২ হাজার ৬৮৮ জন। আর সুস্থ হয়েছেন তিন কোটি ২৩ লাখ ৯৬ হাজার ১৩১ জন।
