তিনি জানান, পাকিস্তানের বাংলাদেশ সফর চূড়ান্ত করার জন্য কাজ করছে দুই দেশের ক্রিকেট পরিচালনা বিভাগ।
এর আগে, ২০১৫ সালে পাকিস্তান জাতীয় দল সবশেষ বাংলাদেশ সফরে এসেছিল। তবে বাংলাদেশ পাকিস্তান সফরে না যাওয়াতে একাধিকবার বেঁকে বসেছিল পাকিস্তান ক্রিকেট বোর্ড।
যদিও ২০২০ সালে বাংলাদেশ দলের ওই সফর পাকিস্তানে আন্তর্জাতিক ক্রিকেট পুরোদমে ফেরানোতে বড় ভূমিকা পালন করে।
এবার বাংলাদেশে এসে তিন ফরম্যাটেই খেলবে পাকিস্তান। সুজন বলেন, ‘পাকিস্তান সিরিজ বিশ্বকাপের পরপরই। এ ব্যাপারে ক্রিকেট অপারেশন্স বিভাগ পাকিস্তান বোর্ডের সাথে যোগাযোগ করছে। সব ফরম্যাটেই খেলা থাকবে, ওয়ানডে ও টেস্ট বেশি থাকবে।’
পাকিস্তানের ক্ষেত্রে কোভিড প্রটোকল অস্ট্রেলিয়া ও নিউজিল্যান্ড মতোই হবে কিনা এমন প্রশ্নের জবাবে প্রধান নির্বাহী বলেন, ‘আমরা যে স্ট্যান্ডার্ড বেঞ্চমার্ক ঠিক করেছি সেই অনুযায়ীই আমাদের প্রটোকল ও জৈব সুরক্ষা বলয় হবে। আমরা আমাদের যে গাইডলাইন তা সফরকারী দলকে অবহিত করব, সেই অনুযায়ীই বাস্তবায়ন করব।’
