কুষ্টিয়ার খোকসা মোড়াগাছা এ কতজন মৃত্যুবরণ করা মহিলার সন্ধান পাওয়া গেছে। মৃত অজ্ঞাত মহিলা খুলনা জেলার ফুলবাড়িয়া গেটের স্বামীর দুলাল হাওলাদারের স্ত্রী মিলি বেগম (৬৫)।

জানাগেছে গত শুক্রবার খুলনা থেকে নাতনী হাবিবা খাতুন (২৩) এর বাড়ি কুষ্টিয়া জেলার কুমারখালী পৌরসভার তেবাড়িয়া গ্রামের বেড়াতে এসেছিলেন।

মঙ্গলবার সকালে বাসা থেকে বের হয়ে পথভুলে খোকসা উপজেলার মোড়াগাছা মাস্টার বাড়িতে সাহায্যের জন্য আসে। এ সময় তিনি বুকে ব্যাথা অনুভব করে। পরে ঘটনাস্থলেই মৃত্যুর কোলে ঢুলে পড়েন।
পরে খোকসা থানার পুলিশ লাশ উদ্ধার করে কুষ্টিয়া হাসপাতালে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য পাঠায়। সন্ধ্যা ৭ টার সময় গণমাধ্যম ও সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমের মধ্য দিয়ে জানতে পেরে মৃত মহিলার নাতনি হাবিবা খাতুন ছুটে আসেন খোকসা থানা।

মৃত লাশটি দেখে ওই নাতনি তার নানী বলে শনাক্ত করেন।

বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন খোকসা থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা ওসি সৈয়দ মোঃ আশিকুর রহমান। তিনি আরো বলেন তার নানী দীর্ঘদিন যাবত উচ্চ রক্তচাপ ডায়াবেটিস ও নানাবিধ রোগে ভুগছিলেন। ময়না তদন্ত করার পর লিলি বেগমের এর মরদেহ নাতনি হাবিবা খাতুন এর কাছে হস্তান্তর করা হয়েছে।
